natural religion against the
invented patriarchal religions. The old natural religions
honoured Nature as a Goddess who acted as a
mother to everything. Patriarchal believers labelled it Paganism and drove it into extinction. Adelphiasophist NeoPaganism returns to the
principles of Nature religions without copying them.
Science is the method of discovering the
wisdom of the
Goddess Nature, and Adelphiasophism rejects putting the clock back to primitivism. Science has
upheld the principle of Nature as a
mother Goddess.
Patriarchal belief made humans
Lords over Nature, and set humanity
against Nature in an
immensely damaging battle. We live in the
womb of the Goddess, and
harm her at our own peril. We must not fight Nature but must
co-operate with her.
Symbiosis not warfare is
our salvation. Our bible is one sentence—
we must not offend the earth directly or indirectly.

Societies that teach contentment with our present station in life, in expectation of
post mortem reward, tend to inoculate themselves against revolution. Further, fear of death, which in some respects is adaptive in the evolutionary struggle for existence, is maladaptive in warfare. Those cultures that teach an afterlife of bliss for heroes—or even for those who just did what those in authority told them—might gain a competitive advantatage.
